Moving is HARD, but the good news is that we are going back to our home ward. (YAY!) I have promises from all three kids that church attendance will improve. We shall see. The other good news is that we have been really throwing stuff away. I mean REALLY. My wonderful landlady, Naomi, has been a SAINT in helping me with this process, and it has cost her to do it. She provided a very large roofing trailer for the trash, and we pretty much filled it twice. She has made the list of family and friends that I can NEVER repay for their lifesaving kindness. Better get on that "best-selling novel" plan, so I can start giving back, eh? ;-)
I am posting a picture, taken by Naomi at the dump, of just SOME of what we tossed over the last week. There is more to go, but it is mostly clothing and books, etc., that I am going to donate to the Deseret Industries.
Right now I am frantically trying to catch up on my homework, which has suffered over the summer, due to the stressful nanny job I no longer have, and then the massive cleanup effort. I should have known better than to take a full class load and try to work during the summer! My GPA will suffer.
Anyway, this needs to be short because I have to get back at the homework, but in a week and a half, we will be back in the old neighborhood again! I will update everyone on the new address when I have the paperwork. Phone numbers will stay the same.
